Quiet Loud

Picture Hooks is an organisation that helps aspiring illustrators to get their work more widely known. This is my entry to their competition Quiet/Loud whereby I had to make two illustrations featuring the same central character. The first illustration is themed ‘quiet’ and the second ‘loud’. I really enjoyed creating this little character. She's called Delia and she's taking a quiet nap in the sunshine before getting her drum and trumpet out to march with the parakeets, who are also very noisy birds!
